Chronicles of the Travelling Drum Hoop – Part 7

3 Oracles eMarket blog - drumFriday night and I am spending quality time with my drum hoop.  It is an exciting day for her tomorrow.  She is going to the Moncton Farmer’s Market with me and then off to our drum making class where I will spend the afternoon greasing her with bear grease to seal the wood.  We finished off the week tonight by having me write Rune symbols on her underside. They are such a part of me and now they are a part of her.

It’s been a bit of a busy week.  She was delighted that two people from the Intuitive Arts Expo that didn’t get to have a reading with me, came for a chakra balancing this week.  She loved the Chakra Pendulums that I make.  We picked out my Halloween Costume to wear to the Halloween/Sanhaim Psychic Fair in Cole Harbour on Oct. 30.  It is of course orange and pink, my two favourite colours.  But the most exciting thing for both of us was purchasing a Mandala Maker program for my computer.  We spent the day making mandalas together.

When I get enough finished I am going to publish a colouring book. (2015 UPDATE: The Charka Mandala Colouring Book is for sale here.)

We had the honour of attending the opening of Atlantic Canada’s first Hospice House in St. John last night. It’s called Bobby’s Hope House and is the culmination of many years of hard work and dedication by the staff and volunteers of the St. John Hospice Society, and the city of St. John.  They should all be proud of what they have accomplished.

Be sure to check in next week to see how the Farmer’s Market goes tomorrow as well as how the bear greasing went.

  1. Pucca: thank you for your comments. I am very pleased that you have found the article interesting and that it is just the kind of information you have been looking for. I usually post new comments on Fridays each week. I hope to hear from you again.

  2. Thankyou for your comments. I did some of the design, in that I choose the colours, and made suggestions to the graphic artist on how I wanted it to look. The template is WordPress.
